Spot in Heaven

I’d be lying if I said I was a saint

Yeah I cuss just like a sailor and

I’ve said his name in vain

But last night when I rolled up a J

I felt compelled to sit and pray

And ask if mother mary let

Jesus hang with good old mary jane

If He turned water into wine

And he spent all his time with sinners

I’d probably be invited to his Sunday potluck dinners

Sure as the sky is blue

And all god’s precious earth is green

I bet he’s got a spot in heaven just for me

Seems like we’re all quick to judge these days

We don’t take time to realize

We all sin in different ways

And I’ll tell you right here and right now

That I ain't holier than thou

Cause I’m still gonna light one up

When he comes down on judgment day
