How to Fix a Broken Heart

Changin\' out old guitar strings,

A tune up or an oil change

Hell, damn near anything

I can fix it

An old hand me down washin\' machine

A couple parts and some elbow grease

If it’s somethin\' that I really need

I can fix it

Here lately I’ve been tryin\' to figure out

How to put a wrench

On everything that’s broken in this house

I can build an engine from the block up

Swing a hammer, lay stone, drive a big truck

I can do a lotta things that most men can’t

I can put up walls and I can knock em down

Fall a tree and pull the stump from the ground

But when the saw dust settles what’s broken needs more than paint

I’m havin\' trouble shootin\' doubles tryin\' to figure out where to start

cuz I don’t know how to fix a broken heart

Duct tape can hold a lot together

Til there’s a wrong turn in the weather

Is it gettin worse or is it gettin better

Can I fix it
