I woke up this morning

Got cleaned up

Knocked the dust off my Bible

And dirt off the truck

Dressed to the nines in this stained-glass mirror

The last place I thought would be is here

But I'm sittin' in a front-row pew

Tears rainin' on these old boots

Suffocatin' in a collared shirt

While I'm waitin' to carry you out of this church

Hey, we shouldn't be here today

You got me cussin' in and out of this place

Working on the truck
