They'll get close enough to desire

So it takes about a year or two

Then they'll call out my bullshit

Then meet someone who's perfect

And I'll sit here scathing, jealous of her

life with him that I refused to have

See I met someone who changed my mind

I was willing to leave it behind me

But the more he looked inside, the more he saw my trail of bodies
