In this life while I’m still flesh and bone

Miss my old mans as a compass’n guide

Life’s ups and downs like the oceans tide

I’ve got some cover for a rainy day

To stay in shade out of sunshine’s ray

But playin’ it safe ain't gonna get you there

Gotta make peace cause life ain’t fair

We've gotta keep moving though it seems so far
