Burnt out from being used

By those who exploit and abuse

They make this cruel life harder

We all have visions that we'll be free from them

Feel stuck in a purgatory of needless grinding

I refuse to give my life away

Sick of politicians being corporate shills

The monarchy taking from the dead

Those greedy sociopaths stealing a living

This is modern Britain, no escape from misery

Another coffin nail in society's casket

Their colossal debt on our backs

We'll never own a home, won't be able to retire

We're overworked, underpaid, undermined

For every hideous act they commit

The legacy that they leave behind

Will haunt them beyond death

And reveal them to be a parasite

Nauseous cronyism

Nepotistic schism

They've never worked a day in their lives

They don't know what reality's like

Their very presence
