In their echo chamber

Life has no value

Given a carcass to fight over

That's decayed and crumbling

They use propaganda to control

They're complicit in social cleansing

They take so much from us

When we're already so desperate

A death by a thousand cuts

Our governments have failed us

Those vultures see us as vermin

We can't succumb to this rat race...

Greed

Fear

Birthing, merging

Authoritarian pain

An unending merciless wretch

Forcing its tendrils into all flesh

Desecrated, our self worth shrinks

They want us weak, unable to dissent

Hideous revisionist history

A pestilent global erasure

We aren't taught the whole truth

'Cause they're embarrassed by disclosure

Their violent insidious gruesome mosaic

Is an abuse of power

How many of the pieces are fake

The paralysis isn't subtle

Fiction swallowed whole

Suffocated by a promise

Given nothing in return

Defenestrate them

No matter what we give, they're never content

Nothing we possess provides betterment

In debt to failing companies, used up, then discarded

Life controlled by monopolies, betrayed by false saviours

Choice anxiety, tunnel vision

It's this a learned impulse that drags you down

While the planet burns, you choose your filter

The ice melts and the sea boils

They drag us into war

And have caused the climate crisis

And privatised everything they can get their hands on

They're destroying our future

They are evil incarnate

We must rise up to defeat their violence

To escape this torment, the global horror

We cannot fail

If all life is consumed

There will be nothing left for us

Save the dream of death
