Orange of the Westering Sun

And once in California we may find

the orange of the westering sun

comes into our path and our room,

and stays on our shoulders.

I've tried so many times, so many times

to get stronger.

And oh I'm grateful for you.

And oh I am afraid

of many things I should not fear if I believe,

and sunlight will be orange, then red- pink.

In Palos Verdes I will see the red kites

and the sky lift pink.

Let's go walk together

the streets blurred with weather.

In plain sight the beauty of someone may emerge.
