I had the house to myself

I might have drank a little bit

Before getting on with it

I might have been ready

To put a plan in motion

I'm just saying that it might have

I may have passed by a photo

It might have cleared the fog

Enough to stop for a minute

And pet the dog

I might have been ready

I take my pill every morning

Least of all my own

I get lost in the sadness

And I couldn't tell you why

But I thought you should know
