Okanagan Peaches

I could stay

Or saddle up, be on my merry way

Whatever strikes your fancy

I could wait and see

It doesn’t matter to me

I’d give my heart

It’s not a lot but it’s a decent start

And when in season

I could pick you up a box

Of Okanagan peaches

We go to bed while it’s still light out

I guess that proves it somehow

That we’ve burnt our light out

Yes I suppose

If you don’t know the answer no one knows

Drifting apart can be

A blessing in disguise

Ain’t it sad how time flies?

I’ll give my heart

It’s not a lot, but it’s the best I’ve got
