DEATH IS THE BEGINNING

 

Hope was a dream at the end of the light

Void of our screams emptiness of the night

Words gone unspoken but the story’s still told

Pain from the torture is all that we hold

Is this what has to be to bring us from our infancy?

 

Run or crawl, it moves too fast and now we're kneeling

Climb or fall, it appears that this past is repeating
