My mind says to love thyself it makes life easier

It tells me to go outside so we can breathe the fresh air

I fail to see the relevance

It’s too complex, it makes no sense

And the situation worsens

Human catastrophe or a mind too dense

Human sacrifice at my expense

A dated placard over whitened teeth

A shiny new facade hides what lies beneath

If we just listened to logic and it’d make all our lives easier

Reason rewards the poor and protects from treason

Well I’ve been nothing but charming, so what the fuck are you laughing at?

Let’s see if this animal looks so cute in its natural habitat
