Lyrics
From atop the face of my trepidation,,
wrists still stained with rust, I breathe through the pain.
Ripples of fear extend down my spine as I am
still obstructed from my full potential.
Though all signs suggest to run to comfort,
I know of the path I owe to myself.
There remain an abundance of attachments
to that which obfuscate the seraphic messages.
With the journey that we have endured,
would it all have been for naught if we can't
simply accept what we know to be
the only path to ascension?
The fear of failure will prevent survival -
removal of earth shall let light flow.
Guilt enfolds the core:
as the surging rivers
break the banks beyond
redefining boundary.
It must not appear in the water's reflection,
lest it disturb the tranquilizing pools.
A deep sense of shame burns,
its smoke chokes our efforts to speak our message
trust that we know nothing, and then
the flame becomes our strength.
Hours, minutes, seconds have gone by measure meaningless we have nothing to present
time and time again we are wasting sacred life that we can never regenerate
every goal we should've completed has gone unmet, standing in sight of ourselves
dead potentiality glowing from beneath the earth, as our hands grip the maddock.
Love is a farce if all is lost:
can this be real in any situation?
Love may be here, although
we cannot feel its weight,
its warm embrace is all too real,
we must let the pain flow away.
Let pain flow away.
I've sewn lies
from disease.
We know light and dark are one of the same cloth,
yet here we are, stuck on top
looking down upon the paths we have travelled,
I still feel the same.
You've got it so fucking easy.
From atop the face of my trepidation,
wrists still stained with rust, I breathe through the pain.
I know that I must let go,
but my limbs, they betray me.
Earth must fall as land - clinging to my captor,
Finally, my grip is slipping
I've been released from this world.
How beautiful, this feeling!
Cliffside rips through
as bones contort, snapping.
Ringing ringing out, I'm forced back in.
Black blood coats my pallid body
it is so cold.
