My first taste of Redman

In the back of my bestfriend’s Mom’s van

Made me wanna get drunk every night

And 6 years later at 11:30

When I threw out my fake ID

21 felt like it’d taken my whole life

And the drink that I bought tasted cold and fine

But back then it was easier to deny

That it was better the first time

After the night I met him

I could not forget him

The perfect night with a so called perfect man

And since I just can’t leave it

I drove up to see him

But it was raining at his house when I pulled in

Turns out the less I know the more I like

And feeling him all over me was nice

But it was better the first time

I don’t know why I always try

To get back the moments that I love

Build it up inside my mind

Till there’s no way that I can live it up

Can’t turn what it is to what it was

Can’t turn a joker into a God but God I’ve tried

So any time I have a good time

I’ve got this bad habit of mine

To waste my money love and time trying to play it back

Try to remake a moment cause I just can’t let go of it

End up ruining all the memories that I have

These days I need more and get less high

And if someone offers I’d still give it a try
