I hate going back to my hometown

Seeing all the boys that still hang around

I hate running into old friends

And acting like there’s common ground

I hate talking to fill space

I don’t wanna succeed by playing a game

I think I keep my pride in line

But some things ain’t worth compromise

Waking up in the beds of ghosts from the past

But what am I losing if I don’t want it back

Who’s face am I saving if I’m wearing a mask
