Scottish singer/songwriter Jacob Alon pierces hearts with an angelic falsetto voice and folky acoustic guitar style that have drawn comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright. Alon was drawn to music as a child, but growing up in small-town Fife, aspirations were limited and a career as a musician discouraged. Alon decided to study medicine instead, but later dropped out to pursue music full-time. Alon burst into the public consciousness with the 2024 debut single "Fairy in a Bottle," which blew up on music blogs and led to an appearance on cult British music show Later with Jools Holland. Alon was snapped up by Island EMI; his debut album, In Limerence, was released in 2025.
