About Antony Szmierek
Artist Biography
English electronic/spoken word artist Antony Szmierek delivers his message in a heartfelt, emotionally raw style. He backs it up with nostalgia-inducing production that varies in its inspiration from 2000s indie to '90s rave and UKG.
After starting out as a member of the Rhythm Method, his love of poetry would eventually lead him to performing solo at open mikes. Having experienced the effect his words could have on audiences, he decided to start self-producing UKG beats to accompany his spoken word. Wanting to utilize his experience with the Rhythm Method, he evolved into a full band, particularly when it came to live shows. In this new iteration, a debut EP emerged, 2023's Poems to Dance To. A full-length debut album, Service Station at the End of the Universe, was released in 2024.
