Nottingham, U.K.-based alternative rock band Divorce take elements of country and add flourishes of grunge and shoegaze. They tie it all together with cohesive songwriting as exemplified by their debut album, 2025's Drive to Goldenhammer. They formed in 2021, having met each other through Nottingham's music scene. Their debut EP, Get Mean, emerged the following year. After releasing their second EP, 2023's Heady Metal, they caught the attention of Capitol Records, which signed them to their subsidiary, Gravity. With the newfound support of their label, they delivered their debut full-length, 2025's Drive to Goldenhammer.
