Swimming With a Shirt On

I’ve never talked about it publicly

Beat around the bush i don’t wanna come clean

Scared of all the stretch marks underneath

So I’ll cover it up with a black tee

In a pool with all my friends

Feet are hanging off the edge

Diving in the deep end

They’ll never know where my mind is

That i'll map out lines i’ve drawn

In the waistband that i’ve fought

Will i ever age out of it

Cause im still swimming with a shirt on

And everybody says "what’s the problem?"

But Man to Man, I don’t know how to solve em

When I look in the mirror, I think when did I get bigger?

Just a product of a kid who wishes he was thinner
