Ten A.M. moon walk into the office, boss is sitting in my chair.

In his arms, he holds my future.

Unaware, I said "whatcha got there?"

He leans forward, shakes a cubic yard of drywall from his hair.

And He says

Then he burst into a cloud of bats and dissipated

So I get home a lightyear later after my daily interstellar commute.

My astral projected space wife is already chomping at my roots

So I pour myself a diethylamide and send it down the chute

That's when wifey walks back in to say

She cuts off her tongue with rusty sheers, puts it in my ear.
