In 2021, I most want to record the call of the Red-crowned Crane because I yearn for the artistic conception in the Book of Songs that "the crane crows in wetland and its sound is heard in the wild.” So, I threw myself into the wilderness with my recording device, searching for the sound of the wilderness. When I arrived at the wetland protection area at the mouth of the Liao River in Pan-jin in autumn, and looked at the endless red beach dyed red by Suaeda salsa in front of me, a group of pure white Red-crowned Cranes in the distance and another group of Red-crowned Cranes more than a hundred meters away singing and echoing in the cold wind, the shock in my heart was indescribable. What I feel is not only the beautiful view in front of me, but also the tenacious vitality of the Red-crowned Crane and the eternal beauty of nature
