Lyrics

Over the Willesden mountains
Early winter mornings
I have seen heaven falling down
Falling down through the dark clouds
Tumbling down to London
Lighting up the run down and forgotten
And as I wait there for my train
I’d like to take a picture
Turn it into a postcard
Send it round the whole world
So everyone can see
The cityscape before me
I inspire the cold air
Hold it in my lungs
Push tiny clouds from my lips, in the shape of words It’s kind of like magnetic poetry Shifting the whispers of those who are waiting While the sun climbs higher and higher And as I wait there for my train
I’d like to take a picture
Turn it into a postcard
Send it round the whole world
So everyone can see
The cityscape before me
