I'm in, I am the wound in your hand

I remind you when you touch the sand

I sit between the shift I'm needed to be

Someone for someone else

And in between, you can't reach me

How does it feel?

I saw the change you scanned my face and thought

"Is it worth it all?"

You give, I take the moment I awake

How does it feel to know

If I'm going down, you're coming too

You're losing sleep over me

And I lose time with you

I'm soft and weak, you don't scare me
