Sober is a prison that I've been in for a year

With an ever changing bail that never seems to clear

Prescription, restriction, I know I'm yet to fail

But if sober was a ship I think it's about to sail

Clean is dirty and it's fake

Clean gets rubbed in my face

Clean is holding itself hostage in my head just in case

I'm tired of my resident requesting longer stays

So I might evict my clean if it continues on this way
