I’ve been trying to find the words

trying to work out what to say

I’ve been looking for a tune

That’ll let me get my way

Every time I start to write

You just take over my mind

And the words, they just won’t come out

I don’t need to worry

But I can’t sing the same old tune

Listening to something new

I’m still searching for a song

For a hidden melody

Something that’ll make you realise

And when I play that song to you

And you start to feel it too

Now we’re on it
