Dandelions

I’ve been looking at the glass half empty

wondering why I don’t see it half full

wanting more when I got plenty

like Midas trying to turn everything to Gold

hate when I go green with envy

looking round asking why not me

tired of carrying a heart so heavy

when I’ve got all I need

need to take a step back

Take in the view

get back to the bright eyed girl I knew
