Remember when we were just kids?

Remember I dressed kind of like you?

And we said everything and nothing

About how we might be something someday

And there's a garden in my head

It kind of reminds me of the one I grew up with

Where everything was beautiful

My mom always had a knack for things like this

Back before I really knew who I was

Before I made excuses for the man I'd become

I was happy, I was happier than now

And they were gods in my eyes

All of the people that I saw as grow- up

And now I am the same age as they were then

But I still don't feel grown
