I met with a friend. Her studio was behind orange curtains. There she handed me thread and lace and we listened to an opera while we worked. I wasn’t familiar but through her I did learn. I met with a friend and we walked a while. Our coats we had to shed, although it was winter. Sun was turning rain on the ground into sticky air. I listened to her and we found there were things to share.
