Standing on a curbside

Squinting in the sun

Staring down the barrel of a tear that’s just begun

A porter for my breakfast

A snifter for my tea

Soon I will be entering my Sea of Galilee

 

Take me to The Village before I fall apart

There’ll be Powers warm

To calm the storm

And a Godforsaken heart

If we wanna get to moving to The Banc in Grammercy,

They’ll have waters for my wading in a Sea of Galilee
