Daedalus

Thrown into this world was I

Shivering naked, crying

The door to life I opened

With no single expectation

But how could I have known, from this cradle

I was lying in

That each step I'm moving forwards

Leads me closer to damnation

In this whirlpool of despair

In solitude I'm sinking

Set sail to reach the final shore

From where is no return

Though storms are raging in my mind

None knows what I'm thinking

Taste the cup of bitterness

Until the day I'll be no more

But if you see me forever gone

There is no single tear to shed

For I've become a kingly feast anew

And finally forever then

To the dragon that I fed

Flying high

Fall so deep

Flying on the wings of pure insanity

Sinking fast

Drowning deep

Washed away by waves of pure insanity
