While Rehab began as a straightforward rap-rock trio, the group broadened its sound after becoming a quintet, incorporating elements of pop, country, and electronica.
∙ Their 2000 debut, Southern Discomfort, featured guest turns by CeeLo Green and Cody ChesnuTT, and the breakout single “It Don’t Matter” hit No. 20 on Billboard’s Alternative chart.
∙ In 2008, eight years after it was first released, an updated version of “Bartender Song (Sittin’ At a Bar)” featuring Hank Williams, Jr., became a hit on rock and country radio.
∙ After going solo, founding member Brooks Buford hosted MTV’s home makeover show Trailer Fabulous, titled after his 2003 track of the same name, which also served as its theme song.
