Everlast—a singer, rapper, actor, songwriter, and member of L.A.’s Rhyme Syndicate collective—recorded his debut album, 1990’s Forever Everlasting, with Ice-T as producer.
∙ During the early ’90s, Everlast was frontman of House of Pain, whose single “Jump Around” ranks at No. 24 on VH1’s list of the 100 Greatest Songs of the ’90s.
∙ His sophomore solo album, Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, sold more than 2 million copies.
∙ “What It’s Like,” his first hit after leaving House of Pain, topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock Tracks charts.
∙ In 2000, his collaboration with Santana, “Put Your Lights On,” won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
∙ He rejoined House of Pain’s Danny Boy and DJ Lethal in the hip-hop supergroup La Coka Nostra in 2006.
Everlast has also released music as a member of The S.T.O.P. Movement, La Coka Nostra, Rhyme Syndicate House of Pain.
