Artist Biography
She’s Only Sixteen have come a long way since 2008. The quartet stormed the festival circuit in 2012 thanks to the success of their debut EP and hit “Dying to Meet You”—its spiky sonics drawing from garage rock. The band continued to hone their craft; 2017’s Whatever That Was featured a sleeker, polished sound as it explored young adult angst counterpointed by easy-flowing rock hooks, while the about-face of 2020’s dance anthem “Broken Glass” put a premium on production for its disco groove. But whatever the musical guise, She’s Only Sixteen proudly wave the flag for fun and abandon.
