Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is sneaking into my uncle’s room to play his cassette tapes. I’d sit for hours mimicking the melodies, not knowing I was already writing my first songs in my head. That’s where the dream quietly began.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fireboy DML, Playboy Michael Jackson, Thriller Toni Braxton, Toni Braxton Michael Jackson’s Thriller showed me how timeless music is made. Toni Braxton’s vocals on her debut album taught me the emotion behind simplicity. And Playboy Fireboy reminded me that African sound can be global without losing its soul.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Elinye” I love ‘Love Elinye’ because it came from a real place in my heart. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of how powerful vulnerability can be in music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing my own music live for the first time and seeing the crowd sing it back to me—that was the moment I knew I was walking in purpose. I’ll never forget that energy.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely. I want to headline a world tour, work with the legends I grew up listening to, and one day create a timeless album that defines a generation.
