In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I was about 7 I went to Puerto Rico with my family. I’m half Irish and we used to go every year with my cousins (about 50 of em). One night someone signed me up to sing Hotel California on karaoke, that’s probably my earliest memory.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? MGMT, Oracular Spectacular Bonus Track Version Nirvana, Nevermind Oasis, The Masterplan It changes every day… But today I would go with Nevermind - Nirvana, Oracular Spectacular - MGMT and The Masterplan - Oasis. Those albums are timeless.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sober Again” To be honest I don’t love any of the songs I’ve already released. What I put out last year was really a product of me figuring out how to actually do it. But if you had a gun to my head I’d say Sober Again.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Going on tour with Tom Grennan was good because it was the first time me and the lads had ever done anything on that scale. It was really inspiring. That tour was where we played our first ever show in Sheffield as that lineup, and it was class!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? If we do what we’re supposed to do, then I think the list should be never-ending. That’s the thing that keeps me driven… But for now, I would say that one thing in my sights is to be able to sell out the o2 in Sheffield.
