∙ “Anti-D,” one of several hits from 2011’s Gold-certified The Wombats Proudly Present: This Modern Glitch, was inspired by frontman Matthew Murphy’s longtime mental health struggles.
∙ The 2015 single “Give Me a Try” received heavy airplay on Alternative radio in the US, making Glitterbug their first album to earn a spot on the Billboard 200.
∙ As a solo artist, Murphy scored a Top 10 UK hit in 2019 with “My Cheating Heart,” which was recorded under the stage name Love Fame Tragedy.
