About Cherish
Artist Biography
The R&B sister act Cherish found gold-selling success in the mid-2000s thanks to hits like “Do It To It.”
• Cherish originally featured sisters Fallon, Felisha, Farrah, and Neosha King. They debuted on Da Brat’s 2003 minor hit “In Love Wit Chu.”
• Da Brat returned the favor by appearing on Cherish’s empowering Jermaine Dupri–produced 2003 single “Miss P,” an abbreviation for “Miss Pimp.”
• Cherish’s 2006 full-length debut, Unappreciated, earned a gold plaque the same year it arrived on Jazze Pha’s Sho’nuff imprint at Capitol Records. The album peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
• Unappreciated spawned the single “Do It To It,” featuring Sean P of The YoungBloodZ. It peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the group their first and only Top 20 pop hit.
• Cherish returned in 2008 with The Truth. The single “Killa,” featuring Yung Joc, cracked the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
• Fallon and Felisha left to form a duo in 2010. They later released music as Cherish without Neosha and Farrah.
• In late 2018, Cherish’s official Instagram posted a photo with all four members and the caption, “New album or nah?”
