Audy—a.k.a. Paula Allodya Item—is a bona fide pop force. Daughter of prolific jazz guitarist Jopie Item, Audy found instant success with her 2002 debut Audy: 18 which introduced the world to her bright, playful vocals and spirited early-2000s-pop sound. Audy has since developed an impressively varied pop songbook that skips between genres and moods with ease. With her orchestral ballads like “Dibalas Dengan Dusta”, bubblegum pop like “Selalu Terdepan” and breezy jazz duet “Terpesona” with legend Glenn Fredly, Audy has secured her place as a leading pop songwriter of the 2000s.
