The singer and actress has avoided the pitfalls of child stardom, remaining a cultural fixture since bursting onto the scene in 1992, constantly exploring pop’s shifting trends. With her siren voice as a fixture, her songs pack dance floors with smart R&B-inflected pop (“Tak Ada Logika”) as well as soundtrack broken hearts with soaring balladry (“Matahariku”). Yet her biggest chameleon-shift came in 2014 with a name change to AGNEZ MO in tandem with embracing hip-hop and collaborating with Timbaland and Chris Brown.
