Why can we not be forever you and me?

I know it’s not my fault, I long to be forgiven.

For whatever it is I’ve done.

I’m trapped but long to be free.

And watch me fall asleep.

Tonight the ocean’s at my feet.

The stars glitter just like diamonds.
