You hate the taste of coffee but you drink it cause I do

And buy me bouquets of flowers because you think that boys deserve them too

You like to stare at the stars, laying on your back and point out where Orion’s belt is

And everytime that you do, I pretend it’s something new

And I hate I can’t find the words

It always comes out less than you deserve

Sometimes “I love you” doesn’t feel like quite the right thing to say

And “I adore you” doesn’t cut it either

So I stay up late and read the dictionary

Trying to find some new vocabulary

Cause I say “I love you” a little too much

Even though it’s not enough

You change your dress about 4 times every night we go out

And then you question my honesty when you ask me if you’re pretty or not
