Lost in your loneliness, a castaway in your own sea.

Drowning in your holiness, screaming ‘someone rescue me’.

A storm rages inside, but no one can hear your pleas.

You know now they lied, you weren’t worth saving.

Washed upon the shores of salvation,

And for the first time you know the sun.

The salt on your tongue turns into golden sand,

Like through an hourglass it falls as you breathe again.

Your true north will lead you, no kings of heaven or man,

Hold the compass of a soul, your fate lies in your hands.

Choice can be a burden when you are without a guide.

Sink or swim, rise or fall, only you decide.

Jesus walked on water at the sea of Galilee,

But you don't need a miracle or empty prophecies.

You don’t need a savior, this day won’t be your last.

Trust the voice inside you and this too shall pass.

And I can’t wait for the day you arrive at your own way, seeking salvation,
