The Eternal Wheel

A boy is sitting by an abyss

Beneath his feet, the raging sea

He climbs a tower, cold and endless

And sings into the storm with glee

In a dream, he jumps to the emptiness

Then rises gently through the air

A man is flying through the mountains

Lying back on a drifting cloud

The wind lifts him beyond the valleys

There’s nothing left to fear or doubt

The thunders fall beneath his feet

Nothing more can make him harm

An old man stands upon a mountain

Watching clouds go drifting by

Soft winds flow by a fountain

His eyes are closed, yet see the sky

Are nebulas within his eyes?

New worlds born within his mind?

Awake with the power of dreams

The eternal wheel will ever turn
