Ordinary people's days

Waking up and work away

They say, they say

I don't need it anyhow", is what they say

Once abandoning beliefs

Bleak's the night and bleak the dreamless day

You wanna go where the other people go

You say you'd try something better

You wanna know what the other people know

Forget the day that you met her

Could you not stay beside me now?

Could we not stay here forever?

And leave the ordinary life behind

Perhaps we'd find something better
