Cause I am consumed with a raging fire all around me

The path behind is decimated

I'm still reaching out

Cause I lack what's required to lift my way out

The rain starts to pour

But the fire's burning even higher

Out of control I'm growing so tired

So I lift my hands and surrender

I don't like the person I've become

There was two now only one

I'm here all alone fighting battles

When its all said and done

What happened the God that sent His only Son

I used to hear Your voice daily

Was never a maybe

When I had You in my corner when I won

Then sickness hit my body

Turmoil hit my mind and my heart

Was shattered into pieces every time

When I put myself out there

The world didn't care that my mental health

Was in a pretty big decline

I had push away my pain

Then the fire inside me grew to be insane

I calling on You God if you're really there

Pull me out before I fully shut down

To put it simple and plain

I've already hurt the ones I love

And I am ashamed of who I have become

If I have to surrender to You

For you to come through

To lift me through this fire

Is what I need to do
