Won't you leave me with my thoughts

Cause I'm running out of breath, been racking my head for what it wants

Now it's been several months

Of my eyes burning red, no energy to talk

Cause I pulled on all the strings

And I dug up all my roots

When the sky came crashing down

I started new

Now I barely understand

All the changes I've been through

But the grip I used to have it coming loose

Growing up feels like a joke that someone's playing on me

Adolescent thoughts still linger in a grown up body

As if we pull the plug just by turning round the sun

Well it's only just begun
