The day before yesterday your text said you didn't wanna see me anymore,

The next day I spent in a daze getting lost in my self conscious brain analysing every flaw.

Then I took a seat a few deep breaths to realise.

And you couldn't take it back.

Out on our first date you said you could wait to take me home,

You told me repeatedly you're not going anywhere but now I'm all alone.

So I took a seat and a few deep breaths to realise.

I told you I'd never lie so you need to know I cried while you enjoyed your space.

You said you love me but that's hard to see I just think you loved the chase.
