Don’t tell my mother about the shape I’m in

It’s alright, I’ll be fine

Raised with a healthy dose of Catholic guilt

But it’s alright, I’m doing fine

I spent one too many nights just sitting thinking 'bout my problems

If it’s me versus the bottle, it might kill me tonight

Am I just a bad influence, under the influence?

Or is it all the time?

If forgiveness is a virtue,

A little sinning never hurt you

It feels good to get drunk once in a while

Is it my DNA or ADD, that wrecks my mind?

Sometimes I watch panic taking over me, but it’s alright...
