Absolute Zero

Once I was born, it was back when I was very young

Seems to me it was the year before I first turned one

Something's freezing at my heel, I don't care to know

It may be that I'm reaching absolute zero

I wrote a poem and I sent it all the way from home

Said I felt a little vacant, just like standing all alone

I sang a song, a song that wasn't hardly wrong

By the time the tune was done, the whole crowd had up and gone
