Lyrics

My Teddy bear is really sneaky
He pretends to be so good all day
He always says his please & thank -yous
Whenever we go out to play
But I wonder can you keep a secret?
I really don’t know what to do!
My Teddy can be really naughty
But nobody believes it’s true!
When I leave the room
There’s a clank & a clang!
All my toys are a mess
And my drum makes a bang!
All my blocks are scattered
All over the room
And then 3, 2, 1 – my Mum’s voice booms…
“Come and clean this room” …
Oh, but MUM… IT WASN’T ME!
My Teddy bear just sits there smiling
Pretending he’s asleep in bed
I look around at all the chaos
But I can only shake my head
I always have to clean his mess up
That cheeky bear is giggling
My naughty Teddy bears a rascal
One day I’ll stop his snickering
(but) When I leave the room
There’s a clank & a clang!
All my toys are a mess
And my drum makes a bang!
All my blocks are scattered
All over the room
And then 3, 2, 1 – my Mum’s voice booms…
“Come and clean this room” …
Oh, BUT MUM IT WASN’T ME!
Mum said that we could visit Grandpa
And Teddy came along with me
I knew just how to stop his mischief…
I left him in the car – you see!
I tied a ribbon ‘round his seatbelt
I tied a ribbon ‘round his waist
I tied a knot in every ribbon
So, Teddy bear could not escape
When I left the car
He was there in his chair
Fingers crossed he’ll behave
With no mess anywhere
He’ll just fall asleep
And then very soon…
3, 2, 1
I hear my Mother’s Gloom
Really far too soon…
Vroom, Vroom, Vroom
Yes – Teddy stole the car
Yes he drove it very far
The best part you see
Is Mum knew it wasn’t me
Just my very naughty Teddy Bear
BEEP! BEEP!
